Careers

Gippsland Southern Health Service has campuses located at Leongatha and Korumburra. These townships are nestled in the gentle rolling hills of South Gippsland, located just 1½ hours from Melbourne – within easy reach of the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  The predominant industry in the area is dairy farming, with one of the largest milk processing factories in Victoria. The area has a growing tourist industry as we are fortunate enough to be close to many tourist destinations including the breath-taking beauty of Wilson’s Promontory National Park, the famous fairy penguins and seals at Phillip Island and a variety of picturesque seaside villages and towns to suit all tastes.  See the below video created by South Gippsland Shire Council showcasing our beautiful corner of the world:
