Gippsland Southern Health Service has campuses located at Leongatha and Korumburra. These townships are nestled in the gentle rolling hills of South Gippsland, located just 1½ hours from Melbourne – within easy reach of the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The predominant industry in the area is dairy farming, with one of the largest milk processing factories in Victoria. The area has a growing tourist industry as we are fortunate enough to be close to many tourist destinations including the breath-taking beauty of Wilson’s Promontory National Park, the famous fairy penguins and seals at Phillip Island and a variety of picturesque seaside villages and towns to suit all tastes.
All new staff are required to undertake our paid Organisational Orientation day before commencing. The date of the next Orientation day will be emailed out to you with your letter of offer. It is held in the Education Centre at the Leongatha Hospital (located near Pathology).
