2019 Credentialed Diabetes Educator of the Year - Andrea Curtis

Congratulations to Gippsland Southern Health Service's Diabetes Educator, Andrea Curtis for being awarded the 2019 Credentialed Diabetes Educator of the Year in Victoria.

Andrea has been a Credentialed Diabetes Educator for 18 years, with 9 of those years at Gippsland Southern Health Service.

"My passion for a personalised client experience is driven by wanting access to excellent care for rural communities. Developing a multi-disciplinary Children’s Diabetes Service and a remote model of care supporting management during pregnancy have facilitated this." Andrea commented. 

Andrea's most rewarding work includes coaching clients who have lost faith in themselves to achieve their own health and personal goals.
