Lyrebird donation

Pictured from left to right from the Lyrebird Auxiliary is Janet Lester, Jo Boyd, Julie Drysdale, Maureen Casey, Tayla Smith (Registered Nurse), Lyndy Elliott, Helen Taylor, Jordan Ralph (Registered Nurse).

The Lyrebird Auxiliary recently donated just over $2000 for the purchase of a Vortex Trolley in the Operating Theatre at the Leongatha Hospital. Vortex Trolleys improve the ability of clinicians to easily locate the required devices for a difficult airway, during an airway emergency.

The Lyrebird Auxiliary is a small group of dedicated volunteers working enthusiastically to raise funds for the purchase of equipment for the direct benefit of patients and residents at the Leongatha and Korumburra Hospitals and affiliated aged care facilities and community support programs.
