An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated healthcare professional interested in training in Medical Ultrasound and joining our Medical Imaging team at Gippsland Southern Health Service (GSHS). The successful applicant will be required to enroll in a postgraduate Medical Ultrasound course. Applications from other health professionals currently studying Medical Ultrasound will also be considered for this position.


GSHS is one of the largest employers in South Gippsland employing 500 staff across two campuses in Leongatha and Korumburra. The Medical Imaging service is provided across two campuses Leongatha and Korumburra.


Leongatha is in the rolling hills of South Gippsland, close to the coastal towns of the Bass Coast and Wilson’s Promontory and only 1 ½ hours from Melbourne’s CBD. The South Gippsland area caters to many outdoor pursuits including hiking, surfing, kayaking, cycling, fishing and generally enjoying nature.
