Nurse Unit Manager – Hillside Lodge

An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with a previous leadership role in aged care to further their experience, whilst covering long service leave.  Applicants should have sound communication, organisational and team work skills with the ability to administer complex workloads.

 

The successful applicant must be prepared to work with the Director of Nursing – Korumburra, undertaking delegated managerial/administrative duties and monitoring/evaluating resident care needs inclusive of care planning and the completion of resident assessments and ACFI.  The role also includes the coordination and supervision of staff at Hillside Lodge.

 

Applicants should possess the following qualifications/experience:

  • Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse.

  • Have previous NUM/ANUM experience.

  • Experience in residential aged care.

  • Working knowledge of MANAD, ACFI and Aged Care Standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.

  • A commitment to high quality patient care.

  • Clinical and administrative leadership.
