Emergency Equipment

Emergency trolleys are generally shared by more than one unit. It is a good idea to familiarise yourself with the “crash cart” and its whereabouts.

There is emergency equipment which is located in each patient room and needs to be checked on each shift to ensure everything is present and in date.  Please ensure that if you are responsible for a patient that you remember to check the equipment.  You never know if you may need it!!!!!

Please seek out all emergency equipment and the crash cart during your first day.
