About the Event

Program includes:

The importance of recognizing signs of deterioration and using observation charts and ISBAR communication tool

Assessing & Managing the Unconscious pt.

Assessment & Management of Respiratory Failure

Including:

• Applying respiratory physiology to clinical practice

• Understanding respiratory pathophysiology

• Physical Assessment (incl. auscultation & SpO2 monitoring)

• Appropriate use of O2 therapy, latest evidence and new O2 therapy devices

Cardio Vascular Assessment

Including:

• Managing Low Blood Pressure & Shock

• The importance of recognising sepsis and assessing signs of multi organ failure

Clinical scenarios – putting it all together
