Gippsland Southern Health Service is offering a 12-month traineeship, undertaking Certificate III in Business Administration, on-the-job in our human resources Department.

You will be supported to complete your studies with one day per fortnight study leave as well as financing the cost of the course.

During the traineeship, you will work with our payroll staff for three days per week, learning all aspects within the Payroll Department and provide administrative assistance to the OHS / RTW Officer for the remainder of the week.

To be successful in this role, you will need to work as part of a team and have the ability to meet set deadlines, with priority being on accuracy. Highly desired is your comfort working with numbers, your problem-solving skills, proficiency with data entry and attention to detail.

Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check.
