An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health Team with grading dependent on experience. The position offers a breadth of experience which may include hospital inpatients, outpatients, home visiting and services to residential care facilities; together with health promotion activities for both consumers and staff at Gippsland Southern Health Service (GSHS).
This role will involve a significant caseload of complex clients. The caseload includes early childhood intervention clients and an adult caseload. Experience or interest in these areas will be highly regarded. Particular skills working with clients of the NDIS would be desirable. Supporting and mentoring new graduates is an essential part of this role.
As a speech pathologist at GSHS you will:
Have appropriate qualification in Speech Pathology approved by Speech Pathology Australia and be eligible for membership to SPA.
Provide exceptional service delivery in the Speech Pathology department.
Have the capacity to further develop your clinical and supervisory skills.
Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Like the challenge of a variety of caseloads.
Enjoy gaining knowledge and improving clinical practices.
